Overview
A ground-up commercial fitout for a specialty coffee roaster occupying a former warehouse space. The brief called for an interior that honoured the raw industrial shell while creating a welcoming, layered atmosphere for customers.
Design Response
Existing concrete columns and steel beams were left exposed and cleaned back to their original finish. New interventions — timber-batten screens, terrazzo countertops, and custom steel shelving — were detailed as clearly contemporary insertions within the heritage shell.
Lighting
A mix of pendant, track, and concealed strip lighting creates distinct zones: a bright service counter, intimate window seating, and a dramatic feature wall showcasing rotating single-origin bags.
